COG-Train Programme
COG-Train is a partnership between Wellcome Connecting Science and COG-UK to provide open-access learning in SARS-CoV-2 genomics
Working with our international partners and scientific leaders from around the world, the COG_Train programme will provide a series of free, online courses focusing on the genomics of SARS-CoV-2, delivered in partnership with digital social learning experts FutureLearn. These courses will be available to everyone around the world.
The programme will also feature ‘train-the-trainer’ courses, supporting researchers and healthcare professionals to learn about bioinformatics analysis and sequencing, and acquire the knowledge to develop and deliver their own courses. A blended, distributed classroom model will be used to increase the reach and impact of the learning materials, with training being delivered simultaneously in multiple classrooms across many countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Sign up here to receive the COG-Train newsletter and stay up to date with all the latest programme developments and be amongst the first to know when courses are open for participation.
