We are excited to share that we are in the process of changing our name from Connecting Science Courses and Conferences to Wellcome Sanger Institute Scientific Training and Events.

Our name and visual identity will be different, but the same dedicated team will continue to deliver high-quality courses, conferences and learning opportunities.

Connecting Science has always been part of the same legal entity as the Wellcome Sanger Institute, and following a recent organisational change, we are moving our courses and conferences activities into Sanger’s new Innovation and Impact department. This exciting change aligns our programme with the Institute’s distinctive science, enabling us to create new opportunities to connect scientists, build skills, and foster global knowledge exchange.

Over the coming weeks, you will start to see our new name and visual identity across our website, social media, registration system and other communications. From September, emails will come from Wellcome Sanger Institute Scientific Training and Events rather than Connecting Science Courses and Conferences.

From October, our courses, conferences and training event information will begin moving to a new Wellcome Sanger Institute-branded website.

We are working to ensure that existing links to courses, conferences and event information continue to direct you to the most relevant information during and after the transition.

Your personal data are not being shared or transferred to any new third party as Connecting Science was already part of the same legal entity as the Wellcome Sanger Institute.

The terms of your current email preferences will remain and continue unless you choose to change them or unsubscribe.
