Our courses use dedicated facilities at the Wellcome Genome Campus. We have a fully-equipped training laboratory as well as dedicated IT teaching facilities for data analysis and bioinformatics training. We also collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to provide participants with access to the very latest specialist equipment and reagents for each laboratory course.
Courses focus on hands-on, practical training as part of an intensive and interactive residential format. The number of participants on each course is kept low (typically 16-18 for laboratory courses and 20-30 for computational courses) to ensure that participants fully benefit from close supervision and interaction with the instructors (and each other).
Our conferences are hosted by our colleagues at the Hinxton Hall Conference Centre. The Conference Centre has a high-tech 300-seat auditorium, meeting rooms, exhibition space, bars, restaurant, and accommodation, all within the Wellcome Genome Campus grounds.
Like us, the venue is part of Wellcome Connecting Science, and shares our mission to enable everyone to explore genomic science.
