COG-Train Community Seminars:
Advancing Pathogen Genomics Science and Collaboration
This webinar will cover topics that include bioinformatics and data analysis, global networking, pathogen genomics trends, and effective science communication. The event aims to equip participants with knowledge in pathogen genomics and bioinformatics, connect them with peers and experts, as well as provide insights into the latest developments in the field. It will also focus on fostering south-to-south collaborations to advance pathogen genomics research and contribute to public health efforts worldwide
Target Audience:
The event is open to anyone interested in Pathogen Genomics who would like to form part of a community in the field. It also aims to strengthen the community formed by previous participants, instructors, or contributors of COG-Train events.
Activities:
This interative virtual event will include seminars and networking activities. There is an opportunity to present your work or exchange experiences via a virtual poster session. Please use the apply link above to submit a poster.
Programme
The event will take place on Thursday 19 October 2023 from 15:00 – 17:00 Central Africa Time and hosted at Gather Town. We recommend trying out this platform ahead of time to test audio/visual and connectivity strength.
